DESCRIPTION
The Extractor Tip Assembly, also known as Part Number 3375843, is a component found in diesel engines. It is responsible for removing excess fuel from the combustion chamber after the power stroke. This assembly includes a tip that fits into the injector and an upper body that houses the spring and ball seat. It works by using high pressure oil to lift the needle off its seat and allow fuel to be injected into the cylinder. Once the power stroke is complete, oil pressure drops and spring tension forces the needle back onto its seat, closing off any further injection. The Extractor Tip Assembly plays a crucial role in maintaining engine efficiency and reducing emissions by ensuring proper fuel delivery during combustion.
