DESCRIPTION
The Core Assembly (part number: 4003432) is a critical component of a truck's engine cooling system. Its primary function is to transfer heat from the engine coolant to the ambient air passing through the radiator. The core assembly consists of a series of small tubes and fins that are designed to maximize surface area and promote efficient heat transfer. Over time, the core assembly can become clogged with debris or corroded, reducing its effectiveness and potentially causing engine overheating. When this occurs, it may be necessary to replace the entire core assembly in order to restore proper engine cooling performance.
