DESCRIPTION
A crankshaft thrust bearing is a component located in the engine of a truck that helps to control the axial load on the crankshaft. It is designed to prevent excessive movement of the crankshaft, which can cause damage to other engine components. The thrust bearing consists of two halves that are placed on either side of the crankshaft and are held in place by a cap.
