DESCRIPTION
A thrust bearing, also known as a collar bearing or axial bearing, is a type of rotary bearing that supports axial loads. The 188714 thrust bearing is specifically designed to handle high axial loads in heavy-duty truck applications. It consists of two washers and a set of rolling elements (balls or rollers) that are positioned between them. The washers have grooves that allow the rolling elements to roll freely and reduce friction between the parts. The 188714 thrust bearing is commonly used in the transmission, differential, and engine components of trucks where heavy loads are present. Proper lubrication and maintenance are critical for ensuring optimal performance and longevity of the thrust bearing.
