DESCRIPTION
A thrust bearing with the part number 3001709 is a type of bearing that is designed to handle axial loads, which are forces that act parallel to the axis of rotation. It consists of two flat washers and a cage that holds small cylindrical rollers. The washers are typically made of steel and have grooves in them to guide the rollers. When installed, one washer rests against a shaft or housing while the other washer is pressed against it by a spring or another mechanism.
