DESCRIPTION
A Main Bearing is a critical component of an engine's bottom end that supports the crankshaft. It is located in the engine block and the crankshaft rotates within it. The main bearing distributes the load of the crankshaft and ensures that it spins smoothly. Over time, wear on the main bearings can cause increased friction and noise, leading to engine damage if not addressed promptly.
