DESCRIPTION
A thrust bearing with part number 4938953 is a component used in automotive engines to support axial loads. It consists of two flat surfaces, one stationary and the other rotating, separated by a layer of lubricating material. The stationary surface is typically attached to the engine block while the rotating surface is attached to the crankshaft.
