DESCRIPTION
A crankshaft thrust bearing is a component found in the engine of a truck that helps to support and control the movement of the crankshaft. It is typically made up of two halves that are positioned on either side of the crankshaft, with one half attached to the engine block and the other to the bearing cap. The thrust bearing helps prevent excessive movement of the crankshaft by absorbing some of its axial force. This helps to ensure that other engine components, such as pistons and connecting rods, remain properly aligned and function smoothly. The part number for this particular component is 3944164.
