DESCRIPTION
A thrust bearing, also known as a collar bearing, is a type of bearing designed to handle axial loads. The thrust bearing consists of two flat surfaces that are separated by balls or rollers. These balls or rollers allow the two surfaces to rotate independently from one another while still maintaining contact. The thrust bearing is commonly found in the engine of trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles where it is used to support the crankshaft and connecting rods. Part number 3000139 refers specifically to a type of thrust bearing used in certain models of trucks.
