DESCRIPTION
The Bracket Vernier Control, also known as part number 188156, is a component of a truck's control system that allows for precise adjustment of an associated mechanism. The bracket itself is typically mounted to the frame of the vehicle or another stable structure, and features a sliding mechanism that can be locked into place using tightening bolts or other hardware. A Vernier scale, which consists of small markings along the length of the bracket, provides fine-grained measurements for adjusting the position of an attached component with great accuracy. This makes it useful in many applications where precision control is required, such as in steering systems or suspension setups.
