DESCRIPTION
The Crankcase Breather Heater, also known as part number 5314952, is an essential component of the truck's emission control system. It is responsible for preventing the buildup of moisture and oil vapors in the crankcase by warming up the crankcase breather. The heater works by using engine coolant to heat up a small section of the breather tube, which in turn warms up the entire breather system. This prevents condensation from forming inside the engine and helps to reduce harmful emissions that can cause damage to both the environment and your truck's engine. Without this component, your truck may experience reduced performance, increased fuel consumption, and even engine damage over time.
