DESCRIPTION
A bushing (part number: 109366) is a cylindrical or tapered component that is used to reduce friction and absorb shock between two moving parts. The bushing typically consists of a metal sleeve or casing with an inner lining made of rubber, polyurethane or other materials. The sleeve is inserted into a hole in one part, while the inner lining provides a smooth surface for the other part to rotate against. Bushings are commonly used in suspension systems, steering linkages, and other applications where there is relative movement between two components. They help to isolate vibration and noise from the driver while also providing stability and support for the vehicle's weight.
