DESCRIPTION
A camshaft kit, identified by part number 4089326, is an essential component of a truck's engine. The kit includes a camshaft and related parts such as bearings, lifters, and seals. The camshaft is responsible for operating the valves in the engine's cylinder head. As the camshaft rotates, its lobes push against lifters which then open and close the valves. This allows air and fuel to enter the combustion chamber and exhaust to exit. Over time, wear on these components can cause decreased engine performance or even failure. A camshaft kit replacement can restore proper valve timing and improve overall engine performance.
