DESCRIPTION
A camshaft is a vital component of the internal combustion engine found in trucks. The camshaft, with its unique shape and size, regulates the opening and closing of the valves in the engine. As the camshaft rotates, its lobes press against valve lifters or tappets which then move pushrods that ultimately actuate rocker arms to open and close valves.
