DESCRIPTION
A camshaft is a vital component in an internal combustion engine that helps to operate the valves. The Camshaft 4101432 is specifically designed for use in a truck engine and acts as a force multiplier, converting the rotational motion of the crankshaft into linear motion for opening and closing the valves. As the camshaft rotates, its lobes push against tappets or lifters, which in turn open and close the valves. The shape of the lobes on this particular camshaft has been carefully engineered to provide maximum efficiency and power output for heavy-duty truck applications. Without a properly functioning camshaft, an engine will not be able to operate correctly and may suffer from reduced performance or even complete failure.
