DESCRIPTION
A compression piston ring, also known as a piston compression ring, is an essential component of an internal combustion engine. It is responsible for sealing the combustion chamber and maintaining proper compression within the cylinder. The compression piston ring fits tightly around the outer diameter of the piston and creates a seal against the cylinder wall. This ensures that gases produced during combustion are contained within the cylinder and directed towards the engine's power output. The 218025 compression piston ring is designed to fit specific truck engines and should be replaced if it becomes worn or damaged.
