DESCRIPTION
A compression piston ring is a circular metal ring that is installed around the piston of an internal combustion engine. Its primary function is to seal the gap between the piston and the cylinder wall, preventing the escape of combustion gases and ensuring maximum compression. The part number 3046227 is a compression piston ring manufactured by Cummins®.
