DESCRIPTION
A compression spring, also known as a coil spring, is a type of mechanical spring that is compressed or compacted when a force is applied to it. The 138789 compression spring is made up of tightly wound coils that are designed to resist and absorb force when compressed. These springs are commonly used in automotive applications such as suspension systems and engine valves. When installed, the 138789 compression spring provides support and stability to the vehicle's suspension system by absorbing road shocks and vibrations. It can also be used to keep engine valves closed while under pressure, preventing oil leaks and maintaining proper engine operation.
