DESCRIPTION
The compressor housing is a key component in a diesel truck's turbocharger system. This part, identified by the part number 3591396, houses the compressor wheel and diffuser. The compressor wheel draws in air and compresses it before sending it to the engine's intake manifold. The diffuser then slows down the compressed air and directs it to the engine for combustion. The compressor housing is typically made of cast aluminum or other durable materials that can withstand high temperatures and pressures. Without a functioning compressor housing, a truck's turbocharger system would not be able to supply enough compressed air to power the engine effectively.
