DESCRIPTION
A Flexible Coupling, also known as a flex coupling or flexible joint, is a mechanical device used to connect two rotating shafts that are not aligned with each other. The flexible design allows for some degree of misalignment and compensates for any vibration or shock that may occur during operation. The Flexible Coupling consists of two hubs with internal teeth connected by a flexible element made of rubber or steel. It is commonly used in trucks to connect the engine and transmission shafts.
