DESCRIPTION
A Banjo Connector is a small but important component used in fuel injection systems of diesel trucks. It is typically made of metal and designed to connect fuel lines to the injector pump or fuel filter housing. The Banjo Connector has a unique shape with a hollow bolt and two hollow sleeves that create a passage for the fuel to enter or exit the component. The bolt runs through the center of the Banjo Connector and is secured by two copper washers, which help create a tight seal between the connector and the mating surface. In addition, there are usually two banjo bolts on either side of the connector that are tightened to secure it in place. Overall, this simple yet crucial part helps ensure proper fuel flow within diesel engines, making it an essential item for any truck owner or mechanic working on these powerful vehicles.
