DESCRIPTION
The Control Rod End, also known as a tie rod end, is a crucial component of the steering system in a truck. Its primary function is to connect the steering linkage to the wheel hub assembly, allowing for precise control of the vehicle's direction. The Control Rod End consists of a ball joint and threaded stud that attach to both ends of the tie rod. As the driver turns the steering wheel, the movement is transmitted through the Control Rod End and onto the wheels, causing them to turn accordingly. Over time, wear and tear can cause damage to this part, resulting in unstable handling or even loss of control. It is important to regularly inspect and replace worn out Control Rod Ends to ensure safe operation of your truck.
