DESCRIPTION
The Rear Cover is a component of a truck's differential assembly. It is typically made of durable metal and serves as the protective casing for the differential gears and bearings. The Rear Cover is bolted onto the back of the differential housing and seals in lubricating oil to prevent leakage while also preventing debris from entering the assembly. In addition to providing protection, some Rear Covers may also have fins or other features that help dissipate heat generated during operation. Overall, the Rear Cover plays an important role in ensuring proper function and longevity of a truck's differential system.
