DESCRIPTION
The cylinder head (part number 2899644) for Cummins® is a crucial component of the engine. It is responsible for sealing the top of the engine block and creating the combustion chamber within each cylinder. The cylinder head houses the intake and exhaust valves, fuel injectors, and spark plugs (if applicable). Its main function is to allow air and fuel mixture into the combustion chamber while sealing it tightly during the compression and power strokes. Additionally, the cylinder head provides passages for coolant flow, helping to regulate engine temperature.
