DESCRIPTION
The Cylinder Head (part number 3037989RX) is a crucial component of an internal combustion engine. It sits above the cylinders and seals them, forming the combustion chamber. The cylinder head contains intake and exhaust valves, which open and close to allow air/fuel mixture in and exhaust gases out of the engine. It also houses the spark plug(s) that ignite the fuel mixture to generate power. The cylinder head must be precisely machined to ensure a proper seal with the engine block, as well as to provide adequate airflow for efficient combustion. Any damage or wear to this component can lead to reduced performance or even engine failure.
