DESCRIPTION
The Cylinder Head (part number 3099142) is a key component of an internal combustion engine. It sits at the top of the engine block and houses the intake and exhaust valves, as well as the combustion chamber. The cylinder head works in conjunction with the pistons to create a seal that allows for compression and ignition of fuel and air. It is typically made from cast iron or aluminum alloy to withstand high temperatures and pressure. The cylinder head must be properly maintained to ensure optimal performance of the engine, including regular inspections for cracks or warping, proper torque on bolts, and replacement of gaskets as needed.
