DESCRIPTION
The Cylinder Head, also known as the engine head, is a key component of an internal combustion engine. It sits atop the engine block and houses the intake and exhaust valves, spark plugs, and fuel injectors. The cylinder head is responsible for sealing the combustion chamber and directing airflow to and from it. It is made of high-strength materials such as cast iron or aluminum alloy to withstand high temperatures and pressure. Cylinder heads come in different designs such as overhead valve (OHV), overhead camshaft (OHC), or dual overhead camshaft (DOHC) depending on the engine's configuration.
