DESCRIPTION
The Cylinder Head, also known as the engine head, is a vital component of a truck's engine. It sits on top of the engine block and houses the combustion chambers where fuel and air are ignited to power the vehicle. The cylinder head is responsible for sealing off the cylinders so that compression can occur within them. It contains various passages for coolant, oil, and exhaust gases to flow through. In addition, it supports valves that allow fuel and air into the cylinders while expelling exhaust gases out. The 3966454 is a specific part number for a cylinder head used in certain models of trucks.
