DESCRIPTION
The Cylinder Head (part number 3967436) is a crucial component in the engine of a truck. It sits on top of the engine block and contains passages for air and fuel to flow into the combustion chamber, as well as exhaust gases to escape. The cylinder head also houses the valves, which open and close to allow for this air/fuel mixture to enter and be ignited by the spark plug. Because of its constant exposure to high temperatures and pressure, it is important that cylinder heads are made from durable materials such as aluminum or cast iron. Additionally, proper maintenance of the cylinder head is essential for optimal engine performance.
