DESCRIPTION
The Cylinder Head (part number 4083400) is a crucial component of an internal combustion engine. It sits atop the cylinders and seals them, containing the fuel mixture for combustion and allowing exhaust gases to exit. The cylinder head contains passages for fuel and air intake, as well as channels for coolant flow to prevent overheating. The head also houses the valves, which allow fuel-air mixture to enter the cylinder and exhaust gases to exit after combustion has occurred. Cylinder heads are typically made of aluminum or iron alloy and must be machined precisely to ensure proper sealing and fit with other engine components.
