DESCRIPTION
The cylinder head (part number 4895793) is a vital component in the engine of a truck. It sits on top of the engine block and contains the combustion chambers where fuel is burned to power the vehicle. The cylinder head also houses the valves, which allow air and fuel into the cylinders and exhaust gases out. The head must be able to withstand high temperatures and pressures without warping or cracking, as this would cause engine damage. Proper maintenance of the cylinder head includes regular inspections for leaks or cracks, as well as ensuring proper torque on all bolts to maintain a tight seal with the engine block.
