The cylinder head is an essential component of an internal combustion engine. It sits above the cylinders and seals them off, forming the combustion chamber. This particular cylinder head has a part number of 5307154. It is likely made from aluminum or cast iron and has various passages for coolant, oil, and air flow. The cylinder head houses the intake and exhaust valves as well as the spark plugs in gasoline engines. In diesel engines, it contains injector ports for fuel injection instead of spark plugs.
