The Cylinder Head plays a critical role in controlling the flow of air and fuel into the combustion chamber while also allowing exhaust gases to exit. Made from high-strength materials such as cast iron or aluminum alloy, it must withstand extreme temperatures and pressures generated by the engine's operation.
