DESCRIPTION
The cylinder head (part number 5361592) is a critical engine component that sits on top of the engine block and forms the top of the combustion chamber. It is responsible for sealing the cylinders, directing airflow and fuel into the combustion chamber, and expelling exhaust gases out of the engine. The cylinder head houses various components such as valves, springs, retainers, and seals that play a vital role in controlling combustion timing and fuel efficiency. In addition to its functional importance, cylinder heads are often modified for increased performance by porting or polishing to improve airflow. Cylinder heads can be made from materials such as aluminum or iron depending on their intended use and compatibility with other engine components.
