DESCRIPTION
The Cylinder Head (part number 5413784) is an important component of an internal combustion engine found in many trucks. It sits at the top of the engine block and contains the combustion chamber where fuel and air are mixed and ignited to power the vehicle. The cylinder head also houses the valves, which allow for intake of air and fuel as well as exhaust gases to exit. The head gasket seals the cylinder head to prevent leaks between it and the engine block. The cylinder head must be made from high-strength materials such as aluminum or cast iron to withstand high temperatures and pressures generated during operation.
