DESCRIPTION
The Cylinder Head (part number 5419812RX) is a crucial component of an engine that sits on top of the engine block and covers the cylinders. It houses the combustion chamber, intake and exhaust valves, and spark plugs. The cylinder head also provides passages for coolant and oil to flow into and out of the engine block. As part of the combustion process, fuel is ignited in the cylinder head which creates pressure that drives pistons down to create power. A faulty or damaged cylinder head can cause a loss of compression, overheating, or even catastrophic engine failure. Therefore, it's important to ensure that your vehicle's cylinder head is properly maintained and replaced when necessary.
