DESCRIPTION
The cylinder head is a component of the engine that sits on top of the engine block and contains the combustion chamber. It is responsible for sealing the combustion chamber, allowing for the proper compression and combustion of fuel and air. The cylinder head also houses the valves, which control the flow of fuel and air into the engine and the exhaust gases out of the engine. The part number 5529498 is a cylinder head manufactured by Cummins® for use in their engines.
