DESCRIPTION
The Cylinder Head, also known as the head or engine head, is a key component of the internal combustion engine. It sits on top of the cylinder block and seals the combustion chamber. The Cylinder Head is responsible for housing various components including valves, springs, and guides that control air and fuel flow into the engine while simultaneously allowing exhaust gases to escape. In addition to providing a mounting surface for these components, it also ensures proper compression ratios within each cylinder by providing space for the piston to move up and down during operation.
