DESCRIPTION
The Cylinder Head is a crucial engine component responsible for sealing the combustion chamber while allowing fuel and air to enter and exhaust gases to exit. It sits on top of the engine block and is bolted down with head bolts. The cylinder head houses the valves, valve springs, retainers, keepers, and rocker arms which control the flow of air and fuel into the combustion chamber as well as the exhaust gases out of it. The Part Number 5658203RX is specific to a certain make and model of truck engine and ensures compatibility with other engine components. Cylinder heads can be made from a variety of materials including aluminum or cast iron depending on the application's performance requirements. Proper maintenance such as regular oil changes can prolong its lifespan significantly.
