DESCRIPTION
The dipstick is a component of an engine that allows the user to check the oil level. It is typically made of metal or plastic and has markings on it indicating the minimum and maximum oil levels. The dipstick is inserted into a tube in the engine block and drawn out to check the oil level. The user should wipe clean the dipstick before inserting it again to get an accurate reading.
