DESCRIPTION
The Dipstick, also known as the oil dipstick, is a long, thin metal rod used to check the level of engine oil in a truck. It typically has markings on it indicating the minimum and maximum levels of oil required for proper engine function. To use the dipstick, it must be removed from its holder and wiped clean before being reinserted into the oil reservoir. After allowing a few seconds for the oil to settle, it can be removed again and the level checked against the markings on the stick. The Dipstick is an essential tool for maintaining proper engine health and should be checked regularly to ensure that there is enough oil present to lubricate all internal parts properly.
