DESCRIPTION
A dipstick is a component of a truck engine used to measure the oil level in the oil pan. Part number 3975210 is a specific dipstick for certain models of trucks. The dipstick is typically a long, thin metal rod that slides into the engine block and rests against the bottom of the oil pan. When removed, it will show how much oil is present in the engine and whether or not additional oil needs to be added. The dipstick may also have markings indicating minimum and maximum levels for proper functioning of the engine's lubrication system. Regularly checking and maintaining proper oil levels using a dipstick can help prolong engine life and improve performance.
