DESCRIPTION
A dipstick is a long, thin metal rod that is inserted into the engine oil reservoir to measure the level of oil in a truck's engine. The dipstick has markings on it to indicate the minimum and maximum levels of oil required for proper functioning of the engine. When checking the oil level, the dipstick should be removed, wiped clean and then reinserted into the reservoir to get an accurate reading. It's important for drivers to regularly check their truck's oil levels using the dipstick to ensure that there is enough lubricant to keep their engine running smoothly. Part number 4395242 may refer to a specific type or model of dipstick used in certain trucks or engines.
