DESCRIPTION
A dipstick is a long, thin metal rod that is inserted into a truck's engine to check the level of oil. The dipstick usually has markings on it indicating the proper oil level range. To use, simply remove the dipstick from its tube, wipe it clean with a rag or paper towel, reinsert it into the tube until it clicks into place and then remove again to check oil level. If the oil level is low, add more oil until it reaches the appropriate mark on the dipstick. The part number 5332459 may refer to a specific type of dipstick used for certain models or brands of trucks.
