DESCRIPTION
The dipstick (part number 5405512) is a component found in a truck engine that allows the operator to check the oil level in the engine. This long, slender metal rod is inserted into the oil reservoir and pulled out to reveal how much oil is present. The dipstick also includes markings to indicate the ideal oil level range for proper engine operation. Checking the oil regularly using the dipstick can help prevent damage to the engine and ensure optimal performance.
