Ring Dowel (Part Number 100973)
A Ring Dowel is a small cylindrical metal pin with a groove around the outside circumference. It is used in automotive applications to precisely align two mating components, such as an engine block and cylinder head. The dowel fits into corresponding holes in each component and prevents any movement or misalignment during assembly or operation. The grooves on the outside of the dowel provide a secure grip for installation and removal without damaging the part.
