DESCRIPTION
The Diamond Dowel, also known as part number 68568, is a truck component used in the construction of concrete pavements. It is a small, diamond-shaped metal plate with two perpendicular dowel pins protruding from its underside. These dowel pins are inserted into pre-drilled holes in the pavement to provide load transfer between adjacent concrete slabs. The Diamond Dowel's unique diamond shape helps to prevent rotational movement between the slabs while still allowing for some lateral movement.
