DESCRIPTION
An Injector Driver is an essential component in diesel engines. Its primary function is to control the amount of fuel that enters the engine cylinders by regulating the opening and closing of fuel injectors. The Injector Driver communicates with the engine control module to determine when each injector should fire, and at what rate. This part can be found in a variety of heavy-duty trucks, including semis and dump trucks. Part number 3162469 is a specific type of Injector Driver that has been designed to work with Cummins diesel engines. Without a properly functioning Injector Driver, an engine may experience misfires, low power, or even complete failure.
