DESCRIPTION
The Electronic Control Module (ECM), also known as the Engine Control Module, is a component of a truck's engine management system. It is responsible for monitoring and controlling various functions of the engine, such as fuel injection timing and ignition timing. The ECM receives input from various sensors throughout the engine and uses that information to adjust its output signals to the engine components. The Part Number for this specific ECM is 3990517. If there are any issues with the ECM, it can lead to poor performance or even prevent the engine from starting altogether.
