DESCRIPTION
An electrical circuit tester, also known as a test light, is a tool used to check the presence of electrical current in a vehicle's wiring system. It typically consists of a long wire with an alligator clip on one end and a pointed probe on the other. The tester is connected to ground and then touched to various points in the circuit being tested. If there is voltage present, the tester will light up or beep. This tool can be used to diagnose electrical problems such as blown fuses, faulty switches or relays, and broken wires.
